FieldOps collects: (a) data you enter — pin locations, labels, notes, team rosters, department information; (b) device information — browser type, operating system, screen size, for troubleshooting and compatibility; (c) location data — GPS coordinates when you use location features, solely for pin placement and Follow Me tracking; (d) access logs — timestamps and roles used to access the service, for security and usage analytics.
Your data is used exclusively to provide the FieldOps service. We use it to: display pins and operations, generate reports, sync data across team members, provide AI assistant responses, track access for security purposes, and improve the service.
Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure (Firebase Realtime Database) and transmitted over HTTPS encrypted connections. Access to data is controlled by department-level PINs and role-based permissions.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Data may be disclosed only: (a) to comply with a legal obligation; (b) to protect the rights or safety of the Company or its users; (c) with your explicit consent.
FieldOps uses the following third-party services: Google Firebase (data storage), OpenStreetMap/Esri/Google (map tiles), Square (payment processing), Anthropic (AI assistant), What3Words (location encoding). Each third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy.
FieldOps uses browser local storage and session storage to remember your login state, preferences, and cached map tiles. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
Your data is retained as long as your department's account is active. Upon account cancellation, data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted unless otherwise requested.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us. Department administrators may export their data at any time using the built-in export features.
FieldOps is not intended for use by individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
